What is OSPREYX?

OspreyX is a mission-focused defense applications event where emerging defense and dual-use technologies are showcased, evaluated, and—when selected—integrated into live, combat-relevant scenarios. OspreyX is designed to move beyond static displays and support real-world validation and transition discussions with government and industry.

wHAT IS THE FOCUS?

From concept to X.  Limited enrollment. Focus areas include: AI, Tech, Tactical, EW, Umanned Systems, medical, disaster  and Space.

INTEGRATION & INTEROPERABILITY

Preference is given to systems that:

• Integrate with existing platforms or workflows

• Are modular, adaptable, or interoperable

• Do not require excessive customization for basic operation

HOW DOES THIS SUPPORT THE 2026 DOW initiatives IN DRONE DOMINANCE?

Drone Dominance has fundamentally altered the tempo of defense innovation.

With the Department of War accelerating from multi-year procurement cycles to six-month iterative fielding, the industrial base must now operate at a different speed — one that demands substantiated capability, scalable production, and decision-grade signal prior to formal evaluation. OspreyX was intentionally built for that shift.

Technologies are evaluated in a structured setting that generates credible feedback while integrating industrial base considerations and trusted alignment. Beyond contested theater applications, OSPREYX  converges defense, disaster, tech and human performance. The same systems supporting battlefield superiority increasingly serve domestic preparedness and crisis response. OspreyX bridges defense readiness with national resilience in a single convergence environment.

WILL I NEED MY ID?

A valid photo ID or government-issued photo ID is required for check-in.

​

 

When should vendors arrive and set up?

Vendors may begin setup Wednesday evening. All booths must be fully set up and ready by 8:00 AM Thursday, when Academic Day programming begins.

​

What outcomes should vendors expect?

Outcomes may include increased visibility with government and industry, structured validation feedback, connections to pilots or follow-on evaluations, and professional content for future marketing. Participation does not guarantee contracts, but it does provide direct exposure to decision-makers (Govt, organizations, investors etc) evaluating real operational needs.

What happens on Thursday (Academic Day)?

Thursday focuses on context and engagement. Government, warfighters, academia, and investors attend lessons-learned sessions, operational discussions, and technology briefings while circulating through vendor booths. This is the primary exposure day for standard exhibitors and an important opportunity to establish early interest.

What happens on Friday (OspreyX Day)?

Friday is the core OspreyX operational day. Selected technologies are integrated into live, combat-relevant scenarios and observed by warfighters and government evaluators. The day also includes focused discussions on pilots, follow-on testing, and transition pathways.

Do all vendors participate in Friday’s operational scenarios?

No. Friday participation is limited to technologies selected for operational integration based on mission relevance, safety considerations, and scenario fit.

​

Will government decision-makers be present?

Yes. Government attendees include warfighters, requirements personnel,  investors and acquisition stakeholders who observe performance and engage in follow-on discussions during and after OspreyX.

​

 

Is OspreyX a trade show?

No. OspreyX is a live operational driven event. Where technologies are  demonstrated, tested, substantiated and evaluated in realistic conditions, and the emphasis is on operational performance, integration, and readiness. OspreyX is an  intentionally curated environment designed to assist companies and products in reaching their next step. We set the conditions for success, you take it to the next level.

What media support is included?

Both vendor packages include  general professional photo and video capture. Vendors participating in live mission  integration will have media coverage of their technology being used in  mission scenarios.

​

Is there food onsite?

Yes, food trucks will be readily available.
